[Arabic] Paris 2015 | What Future for Iraq? Daesh and National Break-Up

[Arabic] Peace Ambassadors for Iraq (PAFI), in partnership with the Institut Thomas More, will host a conference at the French National Assembly in Paris, France on November 10, 2015 from 9:30AM to 12:00PM entitled What Future for Iraq? Daesh and National Break-Up.

With the destabilizing rise of Daesh (ISIS), an exodus of refugees from the Middle East to Europe, and increased social and political unrest throughout the region, Iraq is in the midst of a crucial point in its history.

The conference will focus on the current state of affairs in Iraq, the status of the fight against Daesh (ISIS) and the path toward political reform. Participants of the conference will include:

  • PAFI President Sheikh Jamal al-Dhari
  • Mr. Talal al-Zobaie, Member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Committee
  • Ms. Myriam Benraad, Associate Research Fellow at CERI-Sciences Po
