Iraqi Voices is a place where the public can read and gain insight into the lives of normal, everyday Iraqis. A majority of media coverage on Iraq focuses on the sectarian conflict that has unfolded in recent years. Less covered, however, is what Iraqis who are not engaged in violence think, believe, and feel about events in their country and how their lives have been affected. Now is the time, for Iraqi Voices representing the ethnic and religious diversity of Iraq, to be seen and heard.
In our Reports and Briefing Papers section, you will find short factual papers on the key issues facing Iraq.
Peace Ambassadors for Iraq (PAFI) held the World Table RIGA 2015 ‘Going for Peace and Reconciliation in Iraq’ Conference on March 2-3, 2015 in Riga, Latvia.
The purpose of the conference was to raise awareness and facilitate discussions on the present situation in Iraq, misconceptions of Iraqi internal politics, and the continuing threat presented by ISIS.
