I would like to extend my warmest blessings and best wishes to all Muslims around the world who are celebrating Eid al-Adha. At this time of the year, we are reminded of the sacrifice and devotion that marks this special holiday.
While we remember our cherished history, it should also remind us of our common humanity and that we are drawn to ideals that are greater than our perceived divisions. As millions of Muslims now make the sacred Hajj, let us not forget the vulnerable and less fortunate amongst us who have been forced to flee their homes and seek safety in other lands.
As we mark this year’s Eid al-Adha and give blessings to God, it is important that we strive to live and work toward making this world a more just and peaceful place. I wish all Muslims continued peace and prosperity, and Eid Mubarak.
